IL20 is a cytokine structurally related to interleukin 10 (IL10). This cytokine has been shown to transduce its signal through signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) in keratinocytes. A specific receptor for this cytokine is expressed in skin and upregulated dramatically in psoriatic skin, suggesting a role for this protein in epidermal function and psoriasis. Function: Cytokine that may be involved in epidermal function and psoriasis. Acts through STAT3. Subcellular Location: Secreted. Tissue Specificity: Expressed at very low levels in skin, trachea, and other tissues. Similarity: Belongs to the IL-10 family. Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded (rat skin tissue); Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Antibody incubation with (IL-20) Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-1834R) at 1:400 overnight at 4°C, followed by operating according to SP Kit(Rabbit) (sp-0023) instructionsand DAB staining.
